Shipping label printing: setup guide

Install Chockies Print Bridge to print labels and customs documents directly from your back office to your label printer. If you do not install the print bridge, labels will still open as PDF downloads.

Setup guide

1. Download ChockiesPrintBridgeSetup.exe and run the installer on the Windows computer that is connected to your printers.
2. Finish the installer. A desktop shortcut will be created and Chockies Print Bridge will start automatically.
3. Open your CMS and go to Settings > Shop settings > Local Print Bridge.
4. Click Connect bridge.
5. Click Refresh printers, choose the label printer and A4 document printer, then click Save printer choices.
6. Click Test label print.

What to expect

• The bridge runs locally on 127.0.0.1 only and never exposes your printers to the public internet.
• Signed document links expire quickly and do not send your admin cookies or provider credentials to the bridge.
• If the bridge is offline, the CMS automatically falls back to the normal PDF download flow.
